Etna

This was my third and most favorite attempt at drawing Etna. At first I tried to, I guess 'mimic' would be the right word, Haradaya's distinctive style, only to discover how very incompatible his and my styles are. Third time's the charm though, and I drew the girl my way, and I'm pretty happy with the result.

Don't ask why the Prinny has breasts, though. It's better that way.

And yeah, I forgot the wings. Don't care, amazingly enough.

Mummies in Mummy Sharks Terrorizing Mummies in Mummyland with Mummy Chainsaws

I like most of this picture. The middle mummy is sort of stiff, though. Oh well.

Jousting Hippos

I got a request for hippos. Jousting.

So I did it.

Fucked up on the background, though.

Designing a character with FUCKO the mime!

I bet you're asking yourself, hey, how do I design a character? It's very simple, actually. Sometimes a character will basically draw himself. For example: FUCKO the mime.

Honestly, with a name like "FUCKO the mime", what the hell else would he look like? First off, he'd have to look as if he were constantly on the verge of screaming "Fuck you!" at the top of his lungs (and he is), so he'd have to look tough, stout, aggressive. Short. Naturally, such a headstrong character would attempt, desperately, to rectify -- overcompensate for, even -- his shortcomings; thus: pompadour. And, since he's a mime, that basically informs the rest of his design. I was given a simple, three-word name, and I pretty much just traced. A six-year-old could have drawn FUCKO the mime.

Holy Grail, kids! Look out, White Whale! It's Queequeg

Nothing, really. I just think those are the best gun fingahs I've ever drawn.

A little mad scientist and her bear

Here's something I drew. It's a girl and her hard-wired bear. The technology isn't really there, yet, though. Soon she'll be able to drill a hole into the base of your skull and jam electrical prods in it.

Overall, I really do like this little character sketch. The bear could look a little more like he's hunching over, I should've done his legs differently. I probably should have made the little girl's arm extend out more. But, hey, I like the faces, and something about this picture makes me giggle.
